JOB DESCRIPTION | SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

We build best-in-class SaaS solutions and are on an exciting growth journey. To support our international expansion, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team at our Porto office.

We are looking for someone who is fluent in Danish and/or Swedish, with excellent English communication skills, to help us engage with prospective customers and develop new business opportunities.

You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams, playing a key role in driving customer acquisition and increasing conversion rates across our international markets.

We are seeking an energetic individual with a genuine passion for technology, a curious mindset, and a strong desire to learn and explore new ways to improve our sales processes.

As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for many of our potential customers. Your communication skills, enthusiasm, and ability to build relationships will be essential to engaging prospects and generating new business opportunities.

JOB OBJECTIVES

  • Proactively identify and qualify potential customers through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.

  • Initiate and manage conversations with prospective customers to understand their business needs and introduce AGR's SaaS solutions, with the goal of booking qualified demo meetings.

  • Build and maintain a well-organized pipeline of leads, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent progress through the sales funnel.

  • Research industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing to align outreach strategies and ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including outreach activities, meetings booked, and conversion rates.

  • Gather and share prospect feedback to help improve our products, messaging, and sales approach.

  • Continuously develop your sales skills, product knowledge, and understanding of the SaaS industry.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluency in Danish and/or Swedish (written and spoken) is required.

  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential.

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably within SaaS or technology (2–4 years).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects and build strong relationships.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong drive to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Genuine interest in technology and the ability to quickly understand and communicate the value of SaaS solutions.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Analytical mindset and ability to use data and market insights to improve sales performance.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Resilience, persistence, and a positive attitude towards challenges.

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and other sales tools is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is considered an advantage.

PRACTICAL CONDITIONS REGARDING THE JOB

  • Location: Porto, Portugal – office-based position.

  • Languages: Danish and/or Swedish, plus fluent English.

  • Compensation: Monthly commission based on target achievement.

  • Scope: International markets.

  • Travel: Occasional international travel may be required, mainly to Denmark, Iceland, and other European locations.
